Roasted Garlic Salt

Fresh garlic is roasted to a near-caramel status, and then blended with pure flake salt. The intense flavours in the roasted garlic cloves are drawn out into the salt, while also drying and preserving them. The 'music’ garlic we use for this salt is produced by our Mennonite pal, Joe, on his family farm in Bruce County, by Lake Huron. We grew up camping in the area, but now we visit every year just for this garlic.
